Ahoy! I meant to wax greatly 'pon the chill during the demonstrations and then the subsequent thaw and the phizz/psych curiousities of each, but with the the cold weather (and spending three hours outside of it), I was too cold to cloister myself in front of a computer, and with the warm, I was too ennervated. It didn't get extremely warm, but those few days of temp above zero Celsius were positively balmy. I saw people walking about in sweaters--no coats! and I enjoyed not having to wear my scarf and hat.

That was then. This is now. Don't know about the temp, but the snow! The US folks got a real dump, and I for one was jealous. We hardly had any snow--it was too cold. Kind of strange to see hoarfrost turn the pavement chalky-coloured, not to mention that the streets because a sort of museum for every liquid spilled/dropped/otherwise expelled. It can become a drag walking past the same frozen specimen of Coke every day. Anyway, we're getting our due now, amidst the melodious rumbles and beeps of the snow removal trucks. It's breezy out there, so the snow kind of hurts in a headwind, but it's so lovely! It's certainly cheered me up.

Later!
